Tamannaah and Sundeep Kishan in Bollywood filmmaker Kunal Kohli’s debut Telugu film

Bollywood filmmaker Kunal Kohli, who has some interesting films like Fanaa and Hum Tum to his credit, is foraying into Telugu cinema. The actor is all set direct a romantic comedy with Baahubali actress and Sundeep Kishan in the lead roles. The film started principle shoot in London with the story set in the backdrop of the English city.

The film wil be produced popular actor/producer Sachiin Joshi and and Akshai Puri jointly. Making this announcement, Tamannaah and Sundeep both posted on social media and wrote – “Shoot Started today in London! A Telugu RomCom ⭐@tamannaahspeaks @sundeepkishan Prod @sachiinjoshi & @PuriAkshai Dir @kunalkohli :).

Touted to be a romantic comedy, this will be the debut film for Kunal Kohli in Tollywood. Industry insiders say that this migration comes after the epic success of Baahubali 2 in Hindi as well. A myth existed in the industry that Bollywood filmmakers might not make it great in South but looks like Kunal Kohli is all set to break it.

Tamannaah, besides this untitled film, also has Khamoshi alongside Prabhu Deva which is being directed by Chakri Toleti who earlier directed the remake of Bollywood hit A Wednesday in Telugu and Tamil. Interesting fact is that Chakri Toleti is the same child artist who acted alongside Kamal Haasan in Sagarasangamam.

Sundep Kishan, on the other hand, has Nakshatram with Krishna Vamshi which is gearing up for a release soon. Nakshatram also stars Regina Cassandra and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles. Sundeep Kishan also has another film in the making titled Shamanthakamani, which also features Naara Rohith, Sudheer Babu and Aadhi Pudipeddi in lead roles.

    Wow..really excited..
