The biopic on yesteryear legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka NTR has been in talks since a very long time. The recently launched film ‘NTR’ biopic starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, is grabbing all the attention. However, now the film is in limelight for the wrong reason.
According to reports, cinematographer-turned-director Teja has backed out of the film due to creative differences with the production team. This comes as a shocker as he has walked out of the big project. However, the makers are not sure about the Teja’s decision.
Some weeks ago, at the muhurat of the film that he feels lucky to make a film on the life of iconic actor and political leader NTR. Teja has been involved in every stage of the film. From locking the script to the music sittings, he has been involved in everything. Reports suggest that Balakrishna wanted to have many songs in the film but Teja opposed the idea. This created a difference between the two.
Teja had stopped visiting Balakrishna’s office, which only raised speculations. However, we wonder what went wrong. The makers are now in a look of a new director to helm the project.
“As I felt I can’t do justice to the story of legendary actor I am walking out,” said Teja to the media.
Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is also the producer, will play the role of his father, NTR, in the biopic. The film will be made in Telugu and Hindi.
Last year, when the direct took up the biopic, Teja had said, “Personally, I’m a huge fan of NTR garu and I’m a bit nervous as well. Besides being one of the most loved matinee idols, NTR garu is one of the greatest political leaders India has produced. Depicting his life on screen is no easy job. I want to make sure that I would be able to do absolute justice to the project.”
