TV presenter-turned-actor Sri Reddy is back. The actress, who made headlines with her semi-nude protest, is back in the news once again. Sri Reddy has stated that she will file a defamation case against all those who trolled and abused her on social media while supporting Janasena chief and Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan. Sri Reddy also mentions that she will not slap cases on women trolls.
Sri Reddy lambasted the Movie Artist Association (MAA) for coming in favour of Pawan Kalyan than talking about the casting couch issue. The actress was accompanied by High Court advocate MK Kalanidhi and two other character artistes, including Sona Rathore.
“I am going to file defamation cases against all those who abused me on social media in the court of law,” she said while speaking to media along with her advocate on Wednesday.
She further added, “I am surprised that the so-called MAA is supporting Pawan Kalyan and no action was taken against his supporters and fans who were against the media.”
To uninitiated, Pawan Kalyan responded to Sri Reddy’s one of the questions over her fight on the casting couch. The power star responded to it saying the actress should knock the doors of the court or approach police for the justice instead of personalizing the matter and damaging her image. This advice didn’t go well with the actress.
In front of media and cameras, she recently took chappal in her hand and started slapping. Sri went on to say that how she made a mistake of calling Pawan as her brother. She even abused the actor went on to show the middle finger to him. However, this did not go well among Pawan Kalyan fans who bashed her left and right on social media.
Things turned ugly when Ram Gopal Varma confessed that it was him who instigated Sri Reddy to abuse Pawan Kalyan. Since then, RGV has been facing the severe backlash from Pawan Kalyan fans. Later, both RGV and Sri apologized to the power star on Twitter.
Days after all these happened, in a series of tweets, the actor-turned-politician alleged that the whole episode was the conspiracy against him.
