After Mohanlal announced about the epic Mahabharata being made, prominent producer of Telugu cinema Allu Aravind announced another project that will be made on Ramayana. Allu Aravind along with Madhu Mantena will bankroll this huge project that will be an adaptation of Ramayana. According to sources close to the production house, the budget of the film will be huge and the film will be on a bigger scale than Baahubali.
Speculations were high that the film have Mega Power Star Ram Charan play an important role and the makers have put together a team to finalise the rest of the cast. Rumours are rife in film circles that the makers have also registered a title for the film with the Telugu Film Chamber.
Apparently, the title that has been chosen is said to be Sampoorna Ramayanam. Geetha Arts, the production house of Allu Aravind, have registered the title with the chamber according to reports.
Recent reports also suggest that the film will be made on huge budget and the casting team is trying to reach out top stars from all the industries across India.
The announcement of this film came after Mohanlal announced about his film which will be an adaptation of a book titled Randamoozham, written by eminent author MT Vasudevan Nair. The film will be made on a budget on INR 1000 crores as announced by Mohanlal and will be produced by NRI businessman BR Shetty.
Randamoozham will be directed by ad filmmaker V Shrikumar who has already started work on the script for the film.
