Actor Ram Charan’s latest release Rangasthalam has been doing terrific business at the box office and has already been termed a blockbuster hit. Directed by Sukumar.B, Rangasthalam is a raw and rustic story and has Ram Charan playing a hearing-impaired role. On the first day of release, Rangasthalam clocked a whopping Rs.32 crores at the box office and went past the $1 million number in just 2 days in the US. And after 3 days of successful run at the theatres, Rangasthalam has now clocked the Rs.100 crore number making it the first non-Baahubali film to go past such record number. The cast and crew of the film interacted with the media in Hyderabad on Monday, a thanks meet, and producers announced that Rs.100 crores was achieved in just 3 days.
Ram Charan, playing Chitti Babu in Rangasthalam, has impressed everyone with his performance and critics and audience are terming this rural rustic drama to be a one-man show. Directed by Sukumar, Rangasthalam is said to be the story of a village with the same name on the banks of river Godavari and the lives of the people living in that village.
