After the Telugu film industry was struck by the drugs accusations, there have been a lot of speculations about the celebrities being involved in the racket. The celebrities which includes Puri Jagannadh, Ravi Teja, Charmme Kaur and Navdeep among others have lashed out at these reports and have denied any links with the drugs case. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Telangana Excise Department has, however, sent notices to these celebrities to appear before them for questioning.
Director Puri Jagannadh and cinematographer have already appeared before the investigating officials and yesterday, actor Subbaraju also appeared before the officials in connection with the drugs case. Rest of the celebirities which include Ravi Teja, Actor Tarun, Mumaith Khan and Navdeep are yet to meet the officials.
Mumaith Khan is currently in Mumbai participating in the Bigg Boss Telugu show which is being hosted by N.T.Rama Rao Jr. The reality show will require Mumaith to stay for 70 days on the trot at the house which has led to a lot of speculations about she appearing before the officials investigating the drugs case.
Reports are doing rounds that Mumaith might quit the show midway and appear before the SIT for questionnning. It is not clear yet about what the actress would do at this juncture where she is required to be present at both the places.
Reports are emerging that Mumaith Khan might appear before the officials on July 27th and might be given an entry back in the show as an ,exception which is yet to be confirmed by the makers of the show.
