Ravi Teja and Raashi in Touch Chesi Chudu

Last year, the much-loved Ravi Teja got his career back on track when his ‘Raja The Great’ opened to a good response at the box office while receiving rave reviews along the way. In the Anil Ravipudii directorial, he played the role of a visually-challenged man and deliverted a solid performance. With 2017 behind him, the ‘Mass Maharaja’ is set to entertain fans with ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’. The Vikram Sirikonda directorial hit screens today amidst fanfare. And, it seems to have clicked with the superstar’s die-hard fans.
Most movie buffs/critics are of the opinion that ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ is a commercial entertainer that relies heavily on Ravi Teja’s superstardom. They also seem to have liked Raashi Khanna glamour avatar and her chemistry with the ‘Kick 2’ star. However, at the same time some fans have stated that its screenplay could have been better.

Interestingly, ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ marks Ravi Teja’s second collaboration with Raashi. The two had previously worked together in ‘Bengal Tiger’ and impressed fans with their chemistry. Sometime ago, while talking about her role, Raashi had said that her character is glamorous but has a funny side too.

“In Touch Chesi Chudu, I play a glamorous role but it has a comic touch to it. I love comedy and the audience seem to receive me well in funny roles, like in Supreme. But the comic episodes between me and Ravi Teja are going to be “next level funny and will leave the moviegoers in splits,” she had told a leading daily.

Similarly, Ravi Teja had said that his cop character in ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ is quite different from the ones he has done in the past.

“I have played a cop earlier, but this isn’t serious like earlier. This guy is sincere and tough but also sarcastic, witty and funny,” he had told a daily.
