We often get to see how few people try to imitate the style and mannerisms of few actors and they do it very convincingly too. With technology advancing so much, Dubsmash has only added to imitating your favourite stars or saying their dialogues in their style has become very common. But trying to do an action stunt that your favourite star has performed with extreme protection and under monitoring by experts can turn out be risky. And trying to do this, tourists at a waterfall near Mumbai died.

According to a report in TOI, few tourists who had gone to see the waterfalls at Mahuli fort in Shahapur. Inspired by the Baahubali waterfall jump, Bhiwandi based businessman Indrapal Patil, jumped off the waterfall here leading to his death. According to his brother, Mahendra, Indrapal had gone to Mahuli fort with his friends. “We were informed by the police that he fell from a height and died. It was shocking for all of us, even more so for his wife,” Mahendra said.

This is a disturbing for anyone since taking these kinds of risks without taking precautions can lead to these kinds of accidents. The local police says that these kind of accidents happen a lot during monsoon. “Inebriated or sober, men have a tendency to perform stunts. The climb itself is so rough that one wrong step can throw them tumbling down,” said senior PI Mahesh Shetye of Shahapur police station.

Well, getting inspired by films and doing things can be entertaining but not at the cost of one’s life.
