Virinchi Varma, whose first film – Uyyala Jampala was well appreciated and became hit, is rising in stature with each. After Uyyala, Virinchi collaborated with Nani in ‘Majnu’ which also was a decent hit. The key to Virinchi’s success seems to be his narration style which keeps viewers interested in his stories. Virinchi might soon direct Akkineni Naga Chaitanya after the two met recently to discuss about stories. Reportedly, Chay has liked a storyline narrated by Virinchi and has asked the director to work more on the story.
“They have met to discuss the project, but nothing has been finalised yet. Chay is surely interested in the story but wants Virinchi to further work on it. The duo has ample time though and they will finalise on something before Chay wraps up his film with director Maruthi,” a report in DC quoted a source. Naga Chaitanya is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Savyasachi’ which recently began. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, ‘Savyasachi’ will mark the debut of young Bollywood actress Nidhhi Agerwal.
‘Savyaachi’ will be Naga Chaitanya’s second association with director Chandoo Mondeti after the two worked on ‘Premam’, which was a remake of the Malayalam hit film with the same title. ‘Premam’ was Chandoo Mondeti’s last film as a director and seems quite kicked about ‘Savyasachi’. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya was last seen in ‘Yuddham Sharanam’ which was directed by Krishna Marimuthu. Even though the film was not a commercial success, Chay received positive reviews for his role in the film from viewers and critics.
