Actor Varun Tej is going through a wonderful phase in life these days. His latest release ‘Fidaa’ has proved to be a big hit at the box office and earned positive reviews along the way. Moreover, his chemistry with Sai Pallavi too has been appreciated by all and sundry. And now, he is all set to star in a romantic film yet again. This time around he will be working under Venky Atluri’s direction.

However, according to Varun, this film will be quite different from ‘Fidaa’. Speaking to a leading news agency, he said that the romantic track in his new film is completely different from the one featured in ‘Fidaa’.

“People must be wondering why I’m doing two back-to-back love stories. Venky’s love story is very different and that’s why I didn’t mind doing these films in succession. Both of these films have their own charm. Even though ‘Fidaa’ was a love story, Sekhar’s touch and presentation made it stand out. Similarly, Venky has perceived love so differently and that’s what makes his film different,”  he added.

His film with Venky went on the floors in the last week of July and also features Raashi Khanna in the lead.

As far as ‘Fidaa’ is concerned, it was directed by Sekar Kammula. Released a few days, it won hearts because of its simple and relatable plot. In it, Varun played a doctor while Sai Pallavi essayed the role of a dame from Telangana.

So, will Varun’s new film prove to be a success as well? Comments, please!

Don’t disappoint us like Mister and Lofar. Those type of roles are not for you.

Varun was great in Fidaa. Hope the other film is an out and out love story without any distractions as well.

Varun is lucky to get chance in Sekar Kammula movie with fantastic actress like Sai Pallavi.
