Premam actress Sai Pallavi is making her debut in Telugu with Varun Tej starrer Fidaa. The film is being directed by Sekhar Kammula and is being bankrolled by Dil Raju. The first look of Fidaa was unveiled by the makers a few weeks ago and Sai Pallavi looked regal in it. The makers of Fidaa have now released the trailer which seems to be romantic saga.
The story of Fidaa revolves between an NRI played by Varun Tej and a small-town girl of Telangana played by Sai Pallavi. The film has the trademark Sekhar Kammula essence and the narrative has the sober touch.
Sai Pallavi seems to have gotten into the skin of the character effortlessly as she did in her previous movies. Fidaa seems to be just the film that would give any actor a perfect debut. Varun Tej, who is now gunning for a hit in his career, looks at ease in this role.
Sekhar Kammula, who last made Anamika in 2014 with Nayanathara in the lead, would be banking highly on Fidaa to get back in form. His recent releases – Anamika and Life is Beautiful – have done moderate business, and he would want to score a hit with Fidaa with such big stars in the cast.
Touted to be a romantic saga and with a tagline LOVE-HATE-LOVE STORY, Fidaa will narrate the story of how a small-town girl from Telangana falls in love with an NRI, and how their relationship shapes up from there.
