The highly anticipated NTR biopic, which is a talk of the town will see Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and the Baahubali star Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. Vidya Balan will play NTR’s wife Basavatharakam while Rana will be seen as the Andhra Pradesh chief minister and NTR’s son-in-law N Chandra Babu Naidu. Vidya Balan, who recently began with the shooting of the film, shared her experience of working for the biopic on legendary actor-politician and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.T. Rama Rao.
Vidya while interacting with the media on her becoming the brand ambassador of Malta India Film Festival 2018, the actress spoke about being a part of the NTR biopic. Talking about her Telugu debut, Vidya Balan said, “So, I am very excited about that. I have never delivered dialogues in another language apart from Hindi. Earlier, I did special appearances for one-two scenes in Malayalam film but in this film, I have a full-fledged role.”
Further, sharing about her experience, she added, “We start shooting sharp at 9 a.m. and finish dot at 6 p.m. which is really a unique experience for me.”
The biopic will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi since NTR was a popular figure across India in films and political circles. The biopic will feature Balakrishna himself in the titular role and will portray the life of NTR. The entire Telugu industry was quite excited to know that the film on the legendary actor is in making. Being jointly produced by Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati, the film will have music by MM Keeravani. The makers of the NTR biopic are eyeing to release the film on Sankranthi next year. Seasoned actor Murali Sharma has been signed on to play a key role in NTR biopic.
It is going to be one of the much-awaited biopics of next year. With such a buzz even before the shooting of the film went on floors, it is only leaving us excited to know what N Balakrishna’s pet project has to offer to the audience.
