Vijay Deverakonda’s next titled Dear Comrade; To be directed by debutante Bharat Kamma

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has a slew of films under his belt this year under various stages of production. And announcing one of those projects, Vijay Deverakonda took to social media and confirmed that his next film after Taxiwaala is titled Dear Comrade and will be an action drama. Dear Comrade will be directed by debutante Bharat Kamma and will be produced by Big Ben Cinemas and Mythri Movie Makers jointly. The makers made the announcement on the occasion of Vijay’s birthday which happens to be today, May 9th. Vijay made the announcement in his own style and wrote on his Twitter page – “Mythri Movie Makers. Big Ben Cinemas. & Your Man @Thedeverakonda. Bring you an action drama you will not forget – #DearComrade directed by Bharat Kamma. Shoot starts this June.” As confirmed by the Arjun Reddy actor, the shooting of Dear Comrade will commence from June this year and the release date of the film is yet to be locked by the makers.

Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in Taxiwala which is directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Taxiwala is being produced by SKN and is being presented by Geetha Arts and UV Creations jointly. The makers had recently released the teaser of the film which raised the hype around the film making the fans excited about it. Taxiwaala is slated to be released on May 24th, 2018 worldwide and is expected be an exciting ride for viewers.

Vijay Deverakonda is also a part of Mahanati which is a biopic on yesteryear iconic actress Savitri. Featuring Keerthy Suresh in the titular role, Mahanti is releasing today worldwide and wil have Vijay pairing up with Samantha Akkineni for the first time.

Vijay has also started shooting for his Tamil debut film, NOTA, which is being directed by Anand Shankar. NOTA is said to be a political drama and Vijay is said to be playing an intense role in the film.
