Popular violinist Balabhaskar met with a shocking car accident in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. Balabhaskar, wife Lakshmi and driver Arjun have been admitted to a hospital. Unfortunately, the couple has lost their two-year-old daughter in the car accident. According to reports, the car rammed into a tree after the driver lost control of the vehicle, leaving Balabhaskar and his wife severely injured.
Reports suggest the couple was returning from Thrissur after visiting a temple. The accident happened early in the morning at around 4:30 AM. Balabhaskar along with his daughter Tejaswini Bala was sitting next to the driver’s seat while his wife was on the back seat.

Whoever is trolling everyone for suggesting car seat for infants and toddlers for their safety – are you going to open a separate channel or any platform to discuss/lead discussions to enforce car seats for little kids? If you will not, shut your trap up. People like you never allow anyone to suggest/change.
While it is heartbreaking to read the news, it is natural for well wishers on web to suggest readers to try car seat to avoid this happening to their loved ones.

Heartbreaking ! May God give strength to parents and family in this difficult time! God bless the precious tiny soul!

People lack empathy! Their commentary is not needed. Those who lose someone anyway blame themselves even if they have no role at all to play! Here we have people who have lost their child and these random people of earth are the most bereaved so much so that they will blame the parents of the child! Thank you, your condolences are not required.

What is wrong with you all? This is not US that ppl religiously follow rules here, its India! Even ppl commenting here are surely not following the rules of making baby sit in the car chair. This is the time to support the couple not blaming them unnecessarily!

This is just so sad. Only if baby was in a car seat

It is terrible to even think of. My heart goes to the parents and family. Yes, kids should NOT be seated in the front row. Always in the back row with carseat.

I could never understand the acceptance of kids in front seat and kids without car seats, just sitting on laps. I am in US and no kids are allowed in front seats till 12 yo and have to be in car seats or booster till they are at least 80 lbs.
This is so sad and could have been easily avoided.

The same goes for your comment. Hurtful, disrespectful, untimely, random, anonymous, not needed and could have easily been avoided.

For you – it’s just a news, for them it’s a tragedy that they will live their life with…your hurtful comments are not needed.

The baby was born after 16 years of Marriage….Heart breaking

This is heartbreaking. I pray for the poor parents. That sweet little girl…this is tragic. I hope the parents and the injured driver make a full recovery. The hurt to their hearts though…God help them. And yes nothing wrong in emphasizing here – please put children in car seats and please use seat belts – India does not follow this rule at all.
Anonymous
It is wrong to emphasize it here. You lack empathy and do not know what to say in someone’s hour of grief. I hope they do not read these comments. People here are cruel.

You are just trolling people who are putting out their condolences and constructive suggestion with sensitivity.
It is a fact that kids are safer in car seats and calling people names (cruel. heartless etc) will not change facts.
It’s a tragedy, but the only good thing that can come out of this is if these bereaved parents and other members of the society start raising awareness of the critical need for safety of children in moving vehicles in India…it can save the lives of many innocent children going forward. Your statements while pretending to be a sharing of grief, do nothing to change the status quo and prevent any future tragedies.

Well…that shows where you stand..and good luck to those who know you guys in person and will be subjected to your very “sensitive” condolences laced with equally “sensitive and helpful remarks on if only you had done that…so you are to be blamed…but hopefully ppl will learn their lesson…”!
Anonymous
Thanks – you said it very well. This person has posted the same remark on every sensible comment here so I stopped giving them any credence – no doubt a troll. Everyone has expressed deepest sympathy for these poor parents…there is no doubt we feel with them. And it’s also obvious from the comments that this safety precaution is clearly lacking in India and therefore from this tragedy the hope is that this message reaches out to more people. I don’t see anything ill intentioned in the people who added this advice to their sympathetic comments.

Very sad!!!!!

Terrible news, why did they not use baby car seat for the child, it is too late to blame any one but when we over look this simple safety measures, occurrences like this happen, this is just heart breaking, I pray the gentle man and his lovely wife recover quickly.
God please give them the fortitude and strength to bear the loss of their child.

Actually it is too early to even start blaming! You go to someone’s funeral and start blaming their family for their death????
Anonymous
very sad news indeed for the parents , we should enforce rules like USA to put children and especially infants in back seat and car seat for their safety
Anonymous
Yes you could do that. In US, you will also be thrown out of a condolence meeting for blaming the parents…

this is the saddest news i have read today 🙁
