After wrapping up ‘Rangasthalam’, Charan is likely to begin work on a film with Boyapati Srinu. Now, it seems the curiosity surrounding the film is set to receive a shot in the arm. Interestingly, Vivek is no stranger to Telugu cinema. A few years ago, he received rave reviews for his portrayal of factionist-turned politician in ‘Rakht Charitra’. A Ram Gopal Varma directorial, it impressed fans courtesy its hard-hitting presentation and gripping plot. It will be worth watching if he is able to impress movie buffs yet again.

On a related note, earlier this year, Vivek was seen in the much-hyped ‘Vivegam’ and delivered a sincere performance. In it, he played the antagonist and shared screen space with the phenomenal Ajith Kumar. A Siva directorial, it opened to a good response at the box office despite receiving a mixed response from critics. Besides Ajith-Vivek, it also had Akshara Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. Talking about ‘Thala’, Vivek had said his dedication to work is truly inspiring.

“When we started shooting, he had told me that he was fat in Vedhalam but wanted to be fit for Vivegam. Throughout shoot, he was so committed to his diet and workout. In Serbia, I used to hit the gym at 5 in the morning to train and Ajith anna was there before me every morning. While I was feeling cold even after layers of clothing, Ajith anna shot a bare body shot in freezing temperatures. We shared good chemistry but I started looking up to him as my elder brother only due to his values. That is what makes him special,” he had told a leading daily.

Well, we hope that things work out that Vivek agrees to do the RC-Boyapati Srinu film. We are sure he will make a mark.
