Samantha Akkineni will be pairing up with actor Ram Charan for the first time in Rangasthalam 1985 which is being directed by Sukumar. Set in the 80s backdrop, the film will have Ram Charan playing a hearing-impaired man who calls himself an ‘engineer’. The teaser of Rangasthalam was released a while ago and it looked mighty impressive. Ram Charan’s look and his role in the film look very appealing and will leave us asking for more. Speaking about her role in Rangasthalam, Samantha had recently said that this was the most rustic role she has ever done in her career. “The Telugu audience is going to see me in the most distinct avatar ever. Right from the dressing to the body language, this is the most rustic role I have taken up in Telugu and I am quite glad this part came to me,” Samantha had said.
Rangasthalam has been completely shot in towns located on the banks of Godavari river since the story has a backdrop with the river in it. What has created huge excitement around the film is Ram Charan’s character in the film. It was being said that Ram Charan would be playing deaf and mute character in the film. However, the teaser, released recently cleared all the air around his role and showed us that he would be playing a visually impaired character in Rangasthalam.
