Will Siva Koratala deliver another social message oriented film with Chiranjeevi?

Its almost official that Siva Koratala will next direct megastar Chiranjeevi who is currently shooting for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Reportedly, Ram Charan would be producing this film jointly with Matinee Entertainments and the director is currently working on the script. However, speculations are rife in the film circles that the film may be another social message oriented subject like all Siva Koratala’s previous films. From Mirchi to Bharat Ane Nenu, all the films had an underlying message from the director who always has hinted that he wants to be socially responsible. Buzz in Telugu film circles is that his upcoming film with Chiranjeevi will also be laced with such an idea.

Emerging reports reveal that Ram Charan, who will jointly the produce the film with Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainment, has struck a deal with Siva Koratala for a film with Chiranjeevi and the director will begin the script work of the film now. Reports also reveal that Siva Koratala is being paid a bomb for this project and Ram Charan played a major role in this deal.

Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for the period film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which is based on the life of one of India’s first freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Directed by Surender Reddy, the shooting of the film is underway in Hyderabad and is being produced by Ram Charan himself under the banner Konidela Productions. Telugu film circles is abuzz with news that Chiranjeevi will indeed collaborate with Siva Koratala and will be made on a lavish budget.

Siva Koratala, on the other hand, is one of those few filmmakers who has all hits in his resume as a director. Right from his debut film Mirchi with Prabhas in 2013 till Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu, all his films have been blockbuster hits and have earned great collections at the box office.
