Actor Nikhil is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Kiraak Party which is the Telugu remake of Kannada hit film Kirik Party. While the original starred Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, Kiraak Party will star Nikhil Siddhartha and Simran Pareenja in the lead roles. The remake is being directed by Sharan Koppisetty and is being produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments. Slated to be released on March 16th, 2018, the makers have begun the promotions for the film. And during one such media interaction today, actor Nikhil confirmed that there will be sequel to his 2014 release Karthikeya which was directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Nikhil also confirmed that they are in discussions at the present moment and soon will reveal more details. However, it is not yet confirmed whether the director and the complete cast would be retained. Karthikeya is one of the biggest hits in the career of Nikhil and changed the direction of his career. Karthikeya was a thriller and starred Swati Reddy as the leading lady.

Nikhil’s upcoming release, Kiraak Party also stars Samyukta Hegde and Simran Pareenja in other lead roles marking the actresses’ debut in Tollywood. Samyuktha Hegde, who won a Filmfare in the category of Best Supporting role in her debut film Kirik Party, will reprise her role in the Telugu remake of the film. Samyuktha recently had said that there might be few changes to her character, Arya, including the name to suit the Telugu audiences. “The filmmakers aren’t sure about retaining the name Arya for the role yet. She is a typical tomboy — like that ‘one girl’ in a gang of five-six boys. In real life too, I’m a ‘less drama and more action’ kind of a girl so I can relate to this character. While the role will remain almost the same in the Telugu version, there will be a touch of ‘girliness’ to it,” the young actress had said.
