Akkineni Naga Chaitanya will next be seen in an action entertainer titled Savyasachi which is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti. While each one is waiting to know about the film’s release, reportedly, the theatrical rights of Savyasachi are sold for a huge amount.
According to reports, the theatrical rights of Andhra Pradesh were sold for Rs 9.5 crore, which is indeed huge. On the other hand, Karnataka rights have been sold for a crore or something. Wow, now this is only leaving us excited to know what the makers of the film have in store for the audience and if it will be able to live up to the hype.
A while ago, Naga Chaitanya had posted a poster which explained what the title Savyasachi means. It read that Savyasachi translates to Ambidexter meaning one who can use both his hands with equal power and skill. And with the poster indicating a similar thing, it implies that Chaitanya’s character in the film is a very powerful one. The poster further explained that Savyasachi was the fifth name of Arjuna in Mahabharata because he was capable of using the bow with both his hands with equal power.

With such an interesting background to the title, a very intriguing story and screenplay could be expected in Savyasachi. What adds to the inquisitiveness is Tamil actor R.Madhavan being a part of the cast. Savyasachi will be Madhavan’s first straight Telugu film with a longer screen time even though he did make an appearance in Om Shanti back in 2010 as a Radio Jockey.
“The story has multiple layers — there is Madhavan episode, Chaitanya likes his sister and her daughter; a sub plot shows the relationship between Madhavan and him. How the hero uses his ambidexterity to his advantage is interesting and how the same quality troubles him is amusing,” director had revealed.
Also, much to the joy of fans, Tamannaah Bhatia would be seen shaking a leg for a special number in Savyasachi which has music by M.M.Keeravani.
