Nagarjuna Akkineni is ‘99% done with Ram Gopal Varma’s Officer’

Superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni’s upcoming film will be Ram Gopal Varma’ Officer. The actor has wrapped up a major chunk of the film’s shoot and is missing the cast and crew of the film.

He took to Instagram to share his feeling with a picture of him on location captioning, ‘99% done with RGV (Ram Gopal Varma) # super excited with what we shot so far for this intense action drama. Missing RGV and his team’

Nagarjuna will be seen playing the role of a cop in this action thriller. Recently there were rumors that the movie was inspired from the famous film ‘Taken’. But, the makers rubbished these rumors.

A couple of days ago, director RGV had posted a video from the shoot of the climax of Officer. It said, ‘Crowd gone berserk  to catch a glimpse of Akkineni Nagarjuna , very few Telugus have such kind of craze in # Mumbai’’. Nagarjuna was mobbed by fans during the film’s shoot in Mumbai.

With the intense thriller moving forward in a brisk pace, Naga and RGV didn’t forget to update their fans about the happenings around the movie through social media plaforms.

Ram Gopal Varma and Nagarjuna are reuniting for Officer after two and a half decades. The director- actor duo are known for their films like Shiva, Antham , Govinda Govinda and Drohi. Officer will mark the fifth venture of the duo. Officer is produced jointly by Ram Gopal Varma and Sudheer Chandra under the banner R Company.  New comer Myra Sareen will be starring opposite Nagarjuna. The movie will hit the theatres on May 25, 2018.

Nagarjuna had announced the release the date of the film on his social media account by posting,
Mine and @realmyrasareen ‘s Guns are loaded for @RGVzoomin ‘s #Officer to shoot on may 25 th in the theatres.”
